Ink Jet & Toner Cartridge Recycling How often do you have to change the ink jet and toner cartridges in your printer, fax machine, and copiers? Where does all that plastic, extra ink, and toner go? If these items end up in our landfills, toxic chemicals end up in our groundwater. Help keep our environment clean by recycling these items with the Benzie Conservation District. Many manufacturers of these cartridges now offer ways to send the old cartridges back in the mail. This is great news! However, you also have the option of supporting a local non-profit dedicated to the responsible management of our natural resources here in Benzie County. Thank you for supporting the Benzie Conservation District by recycling your used ink jet and toner cartridges. Items can be dropped off at collection boxes at our office in downtown Beulah and at the MSU Extension office. Proceeds from this program help support the operation and administration of our many projects and services to the community.
