Paddle for the Platte: Protect the Waters We Love

​About:
Enjoy a beautiful ride along the Platte River with family-friendly activities along the way! After launching from Riverside’s livery, paddle at your own pace to the DNR Weir and stop by to learn all about our local waters.

Activity stations include:

• All about watersheds
• Flora & fauna: what's in our water?
• The DNR's salmon program in the Platte River

50% of all kayak/canoe rental proceeds will be donated to the Benzie Conservation District by Riverside Canoes. Be sure to mention this event when you arrive!

Rain date: If this event is cancelled due to weather, registrants will be notified by email in advance and the event will be rescheduled to September 4.
