Benzie Conservation District
Preserving and Enhancing the Natural Resources of Benzie County
|
Recent News!
Benzie may be the smallest county in Michigan, but it is home to precious ecological diversity. With its dense forests, flowing waters, incredible dunes, and bountiful farmland, it is rich in natural resources that deserve protection. 80 years ago, environmental threats inspired community members to join together and form a local service that could meet the needs of Benzie’s unique ecosystem. This passion for our natural resources brought the Benzie Conservation District into existence in 1944. To celebrate 80 years of stewardship, please join us on August 20 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Stormcloud Taproom. We are hosting a relaxed get-together where you can:
Food and drinks will be available, and during the event, Stormcloud Brewing Company is generously donating 50% of beverage sales to our cause! Whether you are new to conservation or have been caring for the environment for years, thank you! We hope to see you at our 80th Anniversary Celebration this August. Comments are closed.
