We've decided to forego the Farms of Benzie apple tour this fall. Why? Well, honestly, all the apple orchards are busting with fruit and the farmers were so busy, we thought we'd give them a break! However, we suggest the following sources for roadtrips and recipes for these luscious fall treats:
FACTS: Apples are Michigan’s largest and most valuable fruit crop—with 900 apple farms and 37,000 acres of apples. As the third-largest apple producer in the country, Michigan generates an estimated economic impact of $700 million annually from the fall fruit. Nom, nom, crunch, crunch!
