Kyla Robinson: Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator[email protected] | 231-882-4391 x 16Kyla leads aquatic invasive species prevention efforts at the Benzie Conservation District, working with lake associations, volunteers, and community partners to stop the spread of invasive species and protect local waters. She holds a BS in Marine Science from Eckerd College and an MS in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan, where she focused on behavior change and environmental education and communication.
Raised between the beaches of Borneo and summers on Bois Blanc Island, she’s always known her path would involve water and conservation. She’s driven by a deep love for nature and a desire to help people make choices that protect it. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, reading, and exploring northern Michigan with her friends and family. |
