Benzie Waters

Benzie is home to some of the most beautiful water bodies in the state. The BCD is dedicated to protecting these invaluable resources. Check out what we are doing county-wide to protect and enhance the waters of Benzie County.

Swimmer's Itch Alert

The Crystal Lake Watershed Association now has a new link that enables the Crystal Lake community to report cases of swimmer's itch, and also sightings of merganser broods and merganser nesting spots. This is part of CLWA's swimmer's itch control and research program, now under way for summer 2017,
