About the Watershed Coalition
In 2011 the Benzie Conservation District organized the Benzie Watersheds Coalition. The Coalition is made up of local watershed organizations, conservation groups, and resource managers working together to protect our watersheds. Projects are currently underway in all three of Benzie's watersheds: Herring Lakes Watershed, Platte River Watershed, and Betsie River/Crystal Lake Watershed.
The next meeting of the Benzie Watersheds Coalition will be May 23, 2023 at 1:30pm at the Benzonia Township Hall.
