Recent News!
The Benzie Conservation District is hosting an "Aquatic Workshop" Wed, October 16th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Mills Community House in Benzonia.
If you've ever wondered about water quality, or how to participate in monitoring the health of local waters, this is the event for you! MSU Extension speakers, Dr. Jo Latimore and Erick Elgin, will share with us marvels of the water world, the importance of citizen science, and offer hands-on aquatic plant identification. Light refreshments will be provided. Thanks to funding from the Huron-Manistee National Forest, this special event is free to the public! Please register for this free event by contacting Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator, Jane Perrino at 231.882.4391; [email protected]. Comments are closed.
