"The Survey Says...!"
In the fall of 2016 the Benzie Conservation District conducted a Natural Resource Assessment in order to gauge the priorities for natural resource protection and enhancement from stakeholders within the county.
The survey participants (you!) determined the top four priorities: water quality, education, invasive species control, and forestry. Happily, this has been, and will continue to be our focus moving forward. The BCD will use this information to build programs and conduct projects to address these concerns. The Natural Resource Assessment survey is conducted every five years.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey! If you were unable to take the survey, but would like to give your input, please contact us with your questions or concerns. We love feedback from our community!
