Join the Master Gardener Association of Northwest Michigan and the Grand Traverse Conservation District for "Oak Wilt and Other Tree Diseases on the Horizon" at the Boardman River Nature Center.
Kama Ross, District Forester for Leelanau, Benzie, and Grand Traverse Conservation Districts, will speak about oak wilt and other tree diseases in Northern Michigan. Oak wilt, a fatal fungal disease of red oaks, is prevalent in our region and Kama will present information about prevention and treatment options that are being implemented to help control the spread of oak wilt and other tree diseases.
