Save the Date: Annual Meeting is November 16

Our annual meeting is November 16 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Mills Community House in Benzonia. We'll be featuring guest speaker Jim Olson, Founder and Senior Legal Advisor of FLOW (For Love of Water).

Mr. Olson will address how a watershed framework, based on scientific data and knowledge and legal stewardship principles (governance and ethics), can help us solve the systemic threats to water, environment, and life.

“There are many unfolding examples of the success of this approach,” Mr. Olson said,  “and one of them happened right here in Benzie County, and involves an unprecedented model of stewardship created by the hard work of citizens and now implemented by the Benzie County Conservation District.”
